Ordinary People

S1 E1. What does Black Lives Matter mean to you ?

Peter Season 1 Episode 1

"Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come" - accredited to Victor Hugo, a 19th century French novelist and poet. This could be applied to the BLM global movement.

It certainly appears that the BLM movement has come of age judging by the response from people all over the world - different races, different generations, different social backgrounds all in unison to demand change following the high profile killing of George Floyd.

In this, our very first episode, I ask a panel of 'Ordinary People' to share and discuss what BLM means to them personally.  We explore what kind of insight BLM has given us, brought to the surface and hung out for all to see. I examine the impact the BLM movement has had on their views about life as a black person in Britain.
