At one time or another we have all either said or thought that black women are the backbone and strength within the black community. That may well be true but what are the effects of heaping so much expectation, responsibility and obligation on them as individuals and equals.
Have society and black men in the main abdicated their own responsibility based on “The Myth of the Strong Black Woman” ?
